North High teachers gathered for a focused group discussion on key policies outlined in RM 217 s. 2021, alongside other existing policies essential to student welfare and discipline. The discussion, led by the school principal, Dr. Naneth P. Salvador, aimed to strengthen the teachers’ understanding of critical processes and their role in ensuring a safe and disciplined learning environment.
Dr. Salvador directed the dialogue toward three crucial topics: Initial Conduct, Due Process, and Confidentiality in handling cases involving child abuse, bullying, and student discipline. She emphasized the importance of following established procedures to ensure fairness and protect the rights of students, teachers, and other stakeholders involved.
Through this FGD, the school reinforced its dedication to creating a culture of respect and safety, guided by DepEd’s policies and the shared responsibility of educators in shaping positive student behavior.
