North High successfully conducted the “Stop the Bleed, Save Lives, Learn CPR and Basic Life Support 2” program, a vital initiative aimed at equipping students, parents, and teachers with essential life-saving skills. This event was made possible through the initiative of Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd Norte in partnership with Brgy. Pasong Camachile II, the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) led by President Bobot Ortega, and the Pusong Ride Guardian Emergency Network (PRGEN).
The program was attended by students, parents, teachers, and our dedicated school principal, Dr. Naneth P. Salvador. Adding to the significance of the event, the Sangguniang Barangay Members, along with Brgy. Captain KonsiKap Jowie Carampot, also graced the occasion, showing their full support for community-based safety and first-aid education.
With expert trainers from PRGEN, participants actively engaged in hands-on training, learning crucial techniques in CPR and basic life support to respond effectively in emergencies. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and resilience, empowering individuals with the knowledge and confidence to save lives when it matters most.
