Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. North National High School (LYFJNNHS) reaffirmed its commitment to quality education by convening a Management Review aimed at reinforcing its Quality Management System (QMS). The session brought together QMS core team leaders, focal persons, and council heads under the leadership of School Principal Dr. Naneth P. Salvador.

During the review, each QMS core team presented detailed reports outlining their processes, procedures, and initiatives. These presentations provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s current practices and served as a foundation for identifying areas for improvement.

Dr. Naneth P. Salvador provided technical guidance throughout the management review session and issued several key directives to further strengthen the implementation of the school’s Quality Management System (QMS). She emphasized the importance of accountability and continuous monitoring, directing each core team to conduct at least one internal audit per quarter and to hold regular management reviews to address emerging issues, risks, and challenges. To ensure procedural consistency, she reminded teachers to consistently use the Document Request and Approval Form (DRAF) and to properly accomplish and submit PAWIM forms in a timely manner. Additionally, Dr. Salvador underscored the value of stakeholder engagement by mandating the installation of Customer Satisfaction Measurement (CSM) or Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback boxes in all classrooms and offices. These measures, she noted, are essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and in ensuring that the school’s programs, services, and operations remain efficient, responsive, and learner-centered.

The QMS initiative is anchored on Department of Education (DepEd) Memorandum No. 014, s. 2022, which outlines a standardized set of processes and procedures designed to ensure the consistent delivery of quality education services. The national QMS, often aligned with ISO 9001 standards, aims to enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction across all DepEd institutions.
