LOOK | LGU and CALABARZON Division Leaders Back ARAL Launching in SDO GenTri
Regional Director Alberto T. Escobarte together with Assistant Director Dr. Loida N. Nidea lead the 24 Schools Division Offices of Region IV-A CALABARZON in the ARAL Program kick-off at Santiago Integrated National High School, General Trias City Cavite, September 13, 2025.
Dr. Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, SDO General Trias City, formally opened the program, reaffirming DepEd General Trias City’s dedication to addressing learning losses through the ARAL initiative.
In a strong show of LGU support, Hon. Luis A. Ferrer IV, City Mayor of General Trias, delivered a heartfelt inspirational message, praising the program’s goal of accessible and inclusive education. He reiterated the LGU’s ongoing commitment to education-related initiatives and support for DepEd’s recovery strategies.

Undersecretary-Office of DepEd Secretary Atty. Fatima Lipp D. Panontongan, Undersecretary, Legal and Legislative Atty. Filemon Ray J. Javier, ASEC-Operations Dr, Georgina Anne H. Yang and Director IV, Operations-Regional Focal Secretariat Dr. Jennifer E. Lopez from Central Office supported the regional opening that underscored a strong spirit of partnership to advance academic recovery efforts.
This was followed by “Sama-Samang Mag-ARAL”, a Commitment Ritual participated in by learners, parents, and stakeholders that demonstrated the collective dedication to the program’s success.
The program continued with the Ceremonial Handover of ARAL Resources from all stakeholders that highlighted the shared vision of making the ARAL Program a sustainable initiative that equips learners with the necessary skills to succeed academically and in life.
The event concluded with a message from Dr. Loida N. Nidea, CESO V, Assistant Regional Director of DepEd R4A CALABARZON, who commended the collaboration between the SDO, the LGU, and the community.
