In line with the ongoing efforts to ensure disaster preparedness and school safety, the SDO General Trias City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Team visited Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. North National High School to conduct a Comprehensive School Safety Monitoring and Infrastructure Audit.
The team, led by SDO DRRM Focal Person Mr. Richard Duque and SDO Engineer Mr. Abraham Colocado, assessed the school’s structural integrity and readiness in case of disasters, particularly earthquakes.
They were warmly welcomed and assisted by Dr. Naneth P. Salvador, Principal II, together with Mr. Erwin A. Asugui (MT-I), Mr. Ryan Edel S. Abueg, and Mr. Elmer P. Casajeros.
This proactive visit underscores SDO GenTri’s commitment to creating a safe and resilient learning environment for all learners and personnel, in alignment with DepEd’s disaster preparedness and risk reduction initiatives.
