An orientation for parents was conducted in preparation for the implementation of the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐+๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ. The session was spearheaded by our very own school principal, Dr. Naneth P. Salvador, who clearly laid out the program’s primary goalโto improve functional literacy and numeracy among learners, with a strong emphasis on reading comprehension (both in English and Filipino) and mathematical proficiency.
During the orientation, Dr. Salvador explained how the target learners were identified, discussed the key learning competencies that will be addressed during the summer, and provided details on the schedule and sectioning. The program is designed to bridge learning gaps, reinforce essential academic skills, and build learnersโ confidence as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
Parents were also introduced to the dedicated volunteer teachers who will facilitate the sessions, ensuring that learners receive focused and supportive remediation.
