In preparation for the opening of School Year 2025โ2026, Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. North National High School conducted its General Assembly on May 31, 2025. The event, which brought together all teaching and non-teaching personnel, was presided over by the school principal, Dr. Naneth P. Salvador, and served as a vital platform to align the entire school workforce with the goals and priorities for the coming academic year.
The assembly opened with discussions on Teachers and Employees Organization (TEO) Concerns, led by TEO President, Mr. Erwin A. Asugui. These included the presentation of the financial report, the distribution of birthday gifts, and updates on various matters such as Brigada Eskwela support and the proposed teachersโ uniforms. The discussions aimed to strengthen unity and promote transparency among staff members as they gear up for another year of service.
The second part of the program, the Principalโs Hour, was led by Dr. Salvador and centered on critical preparations for SY 2025โ2026. She opened the session with a short kumustahan and shared a recap of activities conducted from April to May 2025. Dr. Salvador then presented the schoolโs new organizational structure and outlined the management, core, and support processes that will guide operations for the school year ahead.
Important planning tasks were also addressed, such as the facultyโs review of the E-SIP draft and Calendar of Activities, the schoolโs readiness for enrollment and Brigada Eskwela, and the continued implementation of Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE). Updates on orientations, trainings, LAC sessions, inset schedules, and e-learning were also shared. Additionally, the masterlists, teaching loads, individual teacher schedules, and class schedulesโreflected in the SF 7 formsโ were distributed to all faculty members. This ensured that teachers are well-informed and prepared for a smooth and organized opening of classes.
The General Assembly was a significant step in solidifying North Highโs preparedness, promoting collaboration, and strengthening commitment among staff. With clear direction and collective effort, the North High community is fully equipped to face the new school year with focus, purpose, and shared determination.
