In line with the Department of Educationโs commitment to fostering mental health and well-being among learners and personnel, North High actively joined the nationwide observance of the ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ-๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฌ, as directed in OM-OUGOPS-2025-03-05776. The celebration centered on this yearโs global theme: โ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐
๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐”
To mark ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฒ on October 10, 2025, North High implemented various activities that encouraged awareness, empathy, and hope within the school community.
One of the highlights was Green Ribbon Day, where students, teachers, and staff proudly wore green ribbonsโan emblem of support for mental health advocacy. Also, messages of hope, mental health tips, and prayers for well-being were shared, emphasizing the importance of emotional resilience especially during crises and disasters.
To further engage students, selected learners took part in a Poster and Slogan Making Activity that showcased creativity and advocacy for mental health. Meanwhile, the schoolโs Mental Health Nook Corner became a safe space where learners could pin personal messages of encouragement and express their thoughts about self-care and resilience.
North High student leaders also took an active role by visiting classrooms to share mental health awareness tips and to remind their fellow learners that the school, teachers, and leaders are always ready to listen and support anyone in need.
Through these collective actions, North High reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing not only academic growth but also emotional and psychological wellness, ensuring that every learner and personnel feels seen, heard, and supported.
